The application offers access to the LEO dictionaries as well as the vocabulary trainer and forums.

Use our free vocabulary trainer to create personal word lists and improve your vocabulary. We use a two-way synchronization method, which means you can access all your word lists on your mobile devices or on your desktop, all you need is a free account.

Connect with other users and get help with language-related questions that are not answered by the dictionary. To participate in the forums all you need is a free user account.

The app contains adverts which you can choose to remove by subscribing to our ad-free version.

Thanks for making an app out of Leo! I never found a better translation/dictionary website than this one. I wish it could be adapted to other languages though.

It does function really good. From one to other language and back ! I give five stars for this App. It brings always best results. Zed

Great service and now now that the app supports the Ipad its even better.

But... Can you make it turn sideways when the phone is turned?!

Quite Frankly this app is amazing. It works great, translated properly and does a wonderful job. It gives you the right answers when you need them quick. It provides colloquial meaning and will pronounce the words for you. It supples the gender of the German word and everything. It gives you example sentences on how to use the word and other close or similar variations of the word. It also applies other words that contain it. It shows you also idioms in which the word can be used. This is a great app. I suggest you Download it promptly after reading this.

Finally there is an App where you can see an article of the German word. I only miss an iPad version. Very useful App for people who learn German! Thanks!

Some bad moments

...since iOS 9 LEO doesnt recognise SwiftKey. So unfortunately its unusable for me now. Therefore only 2stars.

I used this app for a long time and I was very satisfied. However, currently there is always the same network error and when Im abroad and need a word very quickly, its not accessible. Im ver unhappy about this, now Im deleting this app for a different one. Please work on this issue and increase the reliability.

I downloaded this app but I realised that there is not accessibility. Im visual impaired and on my IPad I use the touch Voiceover, not supported by this app. At the moment, Im studying German and for this problem, now I cant use this dictionary I know, in general, is very useful to students who are learning German. I think its a shame because you are limiting to people with some view problems the possibility to use Leo Dictionary. I hope you will add the support Voiceover as soon as possible. Dankeschön.
